 Description :
Solutions for securing email communications have been available for a few years now (PGP, certificates, X509, S/MIME, ...), however because of their installation complexity and poor interoperability, few companies have decided to use these solutions to communicate with their partners.
With the SEPPmail solutions, it is possible to send secure emails in a way that is totally transparent for the users. The appliances come in play in the network between your companys email server and firewall so that all email communication can be encrypted or decrypted.
The use of several encryption standards allows you to adapt the solution for your different customers who might be using a different technology. The 4 encryption types used by SEPPmail are :

It is therefore possible to import your customers public keys, be they PGP or S/MIME, and the appliance will automatically encrypt all communications with this person.
The SEPPmail solutions also allow for domain encryption. This means that all emails sent between two companies that have a SEPPmail device are automatically secured by the appliance. This mechanism is totally automatic and requires no input from the users, thus avoiding any costly training usually required after the installation of a new device.
